Originally called the New York Passenger Ship Terminal (orthe Port Authority Passenger Ship Terminal), this cruise port was built andfinished in 1935. At the time there were four piers serving ships, piers 88,90, 92, and 94. Once at the Manhattan cruise port, the driver can either drop you off across the street or drive up the ramp to the second level (the entrance to the second level is on 55th Street). Check-in is on the second level, so you'll need to take the elevator or the escalator. Cruisers departing from the Manhattan cruise port can fly into New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport or LaGuardia Airport, or into New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport.

Port Transportation: Getting to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal Without a Car
If driving, note that all cars enter the terminal from the north at the intersection of 55th St. and State Route 9A (12th Ave).
